In today’s age of social media, you often see influential people online attributing their success to their education and experience abroad. If you’re wondering how to follow in their footsteps (literally and figuratively), and how an international degree can change your life, hear it straight from our Ambassadors of Goodwill–successful people who dared to aim higher and pursue education far from home.
Georcelle Dapat-Sy,THNK School of Creative Leadership, The Netherlands
“I went to Amsterdam to study about creative leadership. It’s a different approach there. I love it there because the approach is holistic. It’s not just about facts, facts, facts, but you also involve nature. There is a mind and body connection. That’s why I loved studying there.”
Danie Laurel, Universidad Carlos III de Madrid in Spain and Politecnico di Milano in Italy
“Studying in the EU has made me who I am today: a strong, independent, confident, and highly educated woman who above all things believes in the power of learning in changing people’s lives and in education as the cornerstone of our country’s future.”
Gabriel Holigores, INSEAD, France
“Interacting with peers from various cultures and backgrounds in an environment that fostered learning in and outside of school very much contributed to my personal growth.”
Quintin Pastrana, University of Cambridge and University of Oxford, United Kingdom
“Studying in the EU provided me an access to a strong global network of leaders and peers that provide unrivaled, real life lessons beyond the classroom, and an exposure to cultural treasures and pursuits within the continent.”
If you’re excited to know more about these inspiring people, you have a chance to meet them and find out what it takes to study in the EU at the European Higher Education Fair (EHEF) 2018. The country’s biggest international education fair will be held on the 10th of October 2018, at the Grand Atrium of Shangri-La Plaza in Mandaluyong City.
For the second time in a row, EHEF has invited illustrious alumni and dynamic youth leaders who have been educated in the EU as Goodwill Ambassadors. Hear their stories and listen to country presentations from participating member states. Inquire directly with representatives from participating universities and higher education institutions.
EHEF 2018 is organized by the Delegation of the European Union to the Philippines together with the EU Member States’ Embassies and Cultural Institutions in collaboration with the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).
Admission to the fair is free. Interested parties can pre–register online for the country presentations via www.ehef–philippines.com.
